There is something so beautiful about a pregnant woman and Ms. Stacie was definitely no exception. She just radiates! We had a great time during her shoot and I just loved that the horses were nosey enough to participate in some of her photos. I really enjoyed our session together and I can’t wait to meet the new addition soon…another little girl to complete their family. I wish you all the luck in the rest of your pregnancy!

These two ladies have been best friends since they were pre-schoolers and just turned 21 and wanted to celebrate their friendship with some updated pictures of them together. It wasn’t really the type of shoot I do every day but I absolutely enjoyed every minute of our time together. Being around them for the afternoon was fun and it was neat to watch the very “sister like” bond that they shared. They are so lucky to be as close as they are and to have each other as friends to be able to share the ups and downs of life with.

I hope you girls always remember the friend you have in each other!

This little one was as happy and as sweet as can be throughout her session. Gotta love that! I’ve been photographing her first year and she keeps getting easier with each shoot. I have loved getting to know and spend time with her an her family throughout the last few months and the particular morning of her shoot was no different. It was short and sweet and she did perfect with every smile. I can’t believe the next time I see her she will already be one!!!

I am officially back from maternity leave!!! . I’ve had a lot of you ask if I was taking sessions again since Marlow was born and yes, I am back in the swing of things and booking sessions and can’t wait to catch up with all of you. Here is a recent session of a family awaiting the arrival of their little girl. It was so sweet to me to see Jessica pregnant but also so wierd to realize how quickly I had forgotten what it was “like” being pregnant, even though it was only a few short weeks ago. There’s nothing sweeter than being pregnant and feeling the baby move and knowing the miracle of life that is growing inside of you…except for the moment when you lay your eyes on your baby for the first time . The Lee family is now enjoying their little Skyla and hopefully I can get my hands on her sometime soon.

I have really been enjoying my time off with my family the last month and trying to soak up every second of these sweet little moments with the new baby and the boys. Because the weather has been so beautiful lately, I was able to get out with the kids and snap a few quick shots of the them with the “Easter Bunny” this past week. The boys loved the bunny. Easton may have loved the bunny a little too much as every time I would turn around, he was poking the bunny in the eye…saying “eye”. That poor little bunny. He was so patient and sweet and hung in there with us until we were through with the session. We had a great time.

Marlow Is Here!!!!

I am so happy to introduce everyone to our newest addition Marlow Mae Estes. She was born this past Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 11:59 am weiging 6 lbs and 10 oz. To our slight surprise, she came a few weeks early, but we are overjoyed that she is here and that everything is going well. The boys are simply in love with their new baby sister and it warms my heart to see them all together. I’ve never seen anything sweeter in my life . She has been so precious these last few days and we are so blessed to have her here in our lives. I can’t wait to see the plans that God has for our sweet little girl. Here are a few pics that I captured as we were leaving the hospital this past weekend that I wanted to share with you. I’m sure there will be much much more to come !

I also wanted to let everyone know that I will be taking the next 2 months off from my sessions to recover and enjoy our little Marlow. I am looking forward to my upcoming spring sessions and am now booking sessions after May 2nd. May is booking quickly so please let me know if you are interested in booking a spring/summer session. I will be spending the next few months creating a new look so hopefully it will be revealed when I come back from maternity leave. Until then, I will be trying to post some sessions that I have had the pleasure of doing over the last few months. Keep checking back for new updates!!!

Courtney Graduates!

Wesley’s 6 Month Session

Little Wesley is a little cowboy in the making and if you knew his family, it is all too appropriate. He was such a joy to photograph and not to mention adorable too.
